About Thira
Thira is the CIO's trusted agentic AI platform that continuously learns and executes repetitive IT work. Enterprises will spend $6.3 trillion on IT this year, and roughly 40% of it goes to people doing repetitive work across systems that were never built to work together. The work arrives faster than any team can absorb it, the backlog never clears, and there's no capacity left for the work that moves the business forward. Thira learns how an enterprise actually runs, finds a better way to deliver each outcome, and executes the work end to end across every system, with every action governed. The result is measurable ROI and employees whose problems are resolved before they notice them. Thira is backed by a $21M seed round led by Madrona and led by the co-founders of Apptio, and we're building the team that will define this category.
The role
You will be one of Thira’s early employees and own product for a broad part of the platform: the systems our agents run on and the experience customers use to direct and trust them. You will report to the CPO, help shape the vision for the product, and work every day with engineering, design, and our earliest enterprise customers. The product is still taking shape, so this role moves between levels. One week you are defining how agents learn from a customer’s identity and HR systems; the next, how an IT admin reviews a workflow or approves an agent’s action in Slack. There is no established process to inherit, and you will help build it.
What you will own
- Product definition for core platform capabilities: connectors to enterprise systems, the context and entitlement graphs agents learn from, and the reusable skills agents assemble into workflows.
- The customer experience on top of that platform: how IT teams describe outcomes, review the workflows Thira drafts, approve agent actions in Slack and Teams, and see the hours and cost saved.
- The governance model: agent permissions, simulation, approvals, and audit.
- Weekly, hands-on work with early customers: discovery in their environments, pilots run alongside our field team, and turning what you learn into roadmap decisions.
- Specs and tradeoff calls clear enough for engineering and design to build from directly.
- Product metrics for your areas: how much work agents complete, where they stall, and whether customers widen agent autonomy over time.
- Product practices the team will grow into: how we capture customer feedback, prioritize, and ship.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of product management, including substantial time on enterprise B2B platform products sold to IT, security, or infrastructure buyers.
- An AI-forward way of working: you use AI agents daily across product development, from research and specs to prototyping and analysis.
- Range across the stack: you have owned both platform-level capabilities and end-user experiences, and can work on a data model and a review flow in the same day.
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, identity and permission models, and how LLM-based agents behave and fail.
- A track record of customer-facing product work: discovery with technical and executive stakeholders, and products shipped from what you heard.
- Experience taking a product area from zero to one, at an early-stage company or on a new product inside a larger one, with a small team and real ambiguity.
- Clear, concise writing and sound judgment with incomplete information.
Strong plusses
- Domain experience in ITSM, identity and access management, or IT operations (ServiceNow, Okta, Entra ID, Workday, or similar).
- Experience shipping agentic AI or LLM-powered products to production.
- Experience with governance, compliance, or audit capabilities for regulated enterprises.
- Prior experience as a founder, founding PM, or first PM at a startup.
